Black and White Zen Pebbles are quarried from the Yuba River in the Sierra Nevada Gold Country of California. Black and White Zen pebbles are ideal for meditation gardens due to the uniform size for raking out. This attractive blend of the naturally occurring colors of black and white quartz and granite shows very well in the sunlight and shadows of Asian gardens and low water landscapes. These pebbles in smaller sizes are great when used for pathways. Larger sizes are ideal for groundcovers in landscapes. Other uses include pebble bottoms for ponds, stepping stones, and exposed aggregate. The rocks are typical smooth and strong in colors of bright white, cream, black, and blue with some random green showing up.

50 pound bags and 1,000, 2000, and 3,000-pound supersacks
and
bulk by the ton in bulk loads via truck and transfer, end-dumps, 50 pound bags and 1,000, 2000, and 3,000-pound supersacks.

Tons vs. Yards and Square Feet.
In most cases we charge by the ton and we have the receipts from the scale house at the quarry to show upon request. Materials sold by the yard tend to have very in-accurate amounts in the trucks. Amounts depend the size of the loader bucket, how well the material was scooped up and who was supervising the loading of the truck. Scale House totals don't lie, so why take a chance on losing money and time with how many square feet, scoops, skips and or dumps were made in loading the truck?

We typically employ trucks with carrying capacities ranging from 17 to 26.5 tons.

Product Samples
California Building Material Supply believes that for most consumers and end users of these landscaping or building material products the best location to view most of these products is at the actual site where they are going be used. This is particularly true for existing homes and commercial locations that are being renovated or re-landscaped. Samples of most materials can be delivered and evaluated by you on site for you to make the most informed choice possible. Materials are sold per the specification of the stone type, product brand and basic sizes.

Samples are shipped via United State Postal Service, Priority Mail. We can get about 16 pounds of material into a large flat rate box. Samples are sent with an invoice on Net 10 Day Terms. When ordering your samples use the Purchase Order function at checkout and enter SAMPLES. This will allow you to make a purchase without having to pay for the samples at that time.
